Embedly acquires oohEmbed.com

Hi folks.

I am happy to announce that oohEmbed.com has been acquired by
Embedly.

For some time now, I haven't been able to spend much time on
oohEmbed.com for various reasons. At the same time, traffic on the
site was increasing by leaps and bounds so much so that I had to start
paying Google out of my pocket for resource usage on App Engine.

In the end, I decided it was in the best interest of oohEmbed's users
that it finds a new home.

Embedly will continue running the site as is until July 20th. After
that, you'll have to acquire an API key from them to continue using
the service.
