no it isn't,
we know that right now AIR 2.6 is the last desktop version for linux
from Adobe, but other companies can continue support for upcoming
versions...
we will carry on releasing Onyx-VJ versions for AIR 2.6, because AIR
2.7 brings nothing interesting worth using it. But who knows about AIR
3... I don't.

but you can support future versions of Onyx by donating and/or let us
know your feature requests.

you have all been so 'stingy' that onyx-vj developers wont get
involved in bringing you anything in the future, so bye bye, get
yourself prepared to buy VJ software in the future

Dear Onyx-developers

I want to donate some money, but i´m from germany I will not use paypal. Is there another possibility?

By the way: I love Onyx, but it would be great to have a better recording-option ( I had problems when I wanted to record videos for my music, because the songs are about 8 minutes).

Best Regards

j

Yes. But the flv-recorder (or my graphic-card) was strange. When i used 1 video, everything was ok. With 2 or more videos the fps of the recorded video decreased, and the visuals were not synchronized to the music.
The jpgrecorder does not make large jpgs, i think they are very small?

you can use third party software to capture (like camtasia)
JPGRecorder creates jpg files of the output window resolution, so you
define the reso.
for 8 minutes of show, you'll get a very LARGE number of files,
though!

For this -- I think the best option is to something with a video thru and then record the direct video stream (rather than using Onyx).  I would suggest the blackmagic intensity or blackmagic intensity shuttle.  (if you can run them -- they require really large system requirements ...)

Yeah it sucks, but you can't say it wasn't expected.  They're trying to keep up in the mobile space ...

But might have some good tidbits for us -- it might mean they optimize the graphics pipeline more ...
