Hi all,

Total n00b checking in, greetings!

I've got some flv i made with adobe's media encoder (cs5) and when I
browse them in ONYX I don't see a preview. When I try and drag them
onto one of the video decks I get the "error loading layer" message in
the console.

I'm on a Macbook Pro running OS 10.6.3 with the AIR 2.0 Beta runtime.
I've tried reinstalling ONYX (deleting the application and the Onyx-VJ
folder it makes at startup). Any other ideas or suggestions?

FWIW SWF I create with Flash cs5 show their thumbnails and load into
the video decks just fine. I know this isn't the optimal way to import
video, so if I can't get regular FLV playback going I'll need to look
into SWFKNIFE. If there's a clearcut tutorial for using that tool
under mac please point me at it, otherwise I'm just following the
homepage and hoping for the best, getting ffmpeg via macports ATM.

Thanks!
Jordan

Hi,

the best option for looping, is to import jpeg file sequence in flash pro and create a SWF out of it.
