Hello,

The Haitian Student Unity (H.S.U.) organization of Northeastern University was founded in 1973.  As we continue the legacy, we strive to promote the Haitian culture and emphasize its contributions to the global society. It is our mission to present the opportunity for Haitian, Non-Haitian students, and Alumni alike to collaborate in developing significant dialogue, meaningful activities, and successful events that will enrich its members in the areas of culture, charity, and personal development.

With that being said, H.S.U. would like to help the victims of the catastrophic earthquake that hit Haiti on January 12, 2010. We will be collecting items (clothes, canned goods, school supplies etc.) during our first general body meeting Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at 6pm in 322 Curry to send back home. Your donations will be sent to Haiti through the Yele Haiti Foundation established by Musician Wylclef.
