Hi

I'm trying to install OntoWiki on Windows 2008 + IIS7.

I had to resolve some little issues, which I will inform you about later. Currently I'm stuck at the point where docs says "If you start with a new ontowiki installation, you have only one pre-created account: Admin. This account does not have a password, so you need to change this!!". When I try this, I get "Unknown user identifier" message.

I have downloaded the latest release from google code. Please help.

Regards,
Tomasz

hi ploosqva, ontowiki strongly depends on mod_rewrite and the configured
rewriting in the .htaccess. Is there a similar rewriting plugin
available in IIS?

Hi

Any thoughts on me being unable to login as admin? It's a wall for me now.

Regard,
Tomasz

Can you try to login with your virtuoso username and pass? Doing this,
OntoWiki will ignore any access control information. Maybe the config
model was not installed correctly. So login as "SuperAdmin", delete it
(it will instantly re-created from the file in the sources), logout and
login as Admin again.

Best regards

Virtuoso user/pass works.

So next I should delete the OntoWiki System Configuration? This produces the error saying "Error importing statements: SQL Error: [OpenLink][Virtuoso ODBC Driver][Virtuoso Server]FA003: Access to '[.*]\SysOntLocal.rdf' is denied due to access control in ini file () in query"

I have added PHP's temp path to DirsAllowed. Also adding the above path to DirsAllowed doesn't help.

As an experiment I renamed both those rdf files and then the error didn't occur which was no shocker.

But model has also been created in virtuoso including a <http://localhost/OntoWiki/Config/Admin> instance and now interestingly logging in actualy worked

Tomek, two questions:
Which files did you renamed?
Is your installation now working and did you updated to the latest develop tip?

Best regards

I renamed SysOntLocal.rdf and SysOnt.rdf.

No, I haven't yet tried the latest develop tip. Haven't had time yet and for the time being I'm usin version 0.9.6 from the zip I downloaded.
