Hi,

I am a total newcomer to Ontowiki. I inherited a rather old application that uses Ontowiki. It us currently running with regular HTTP, not HTTPS. I'm trying to reconfigure it to work with SSL. The application uses an Apache front-end server, the PHP5 module in Apache, and that's it.

I was able to get everything working, except for Ontowiki itself. All the static HTML pages are working with SSL. I can go to https://my.server.name/phpinfo.php, and that works just fine, too. But when I go to the Ontowiki portion of the application, I briefly see the UI in my browser, and then I just get a giant-size sunburst busy icon (see attachment).

The only think I could find on the Internet that seemed to relate to this problem was this post from 2008:

That talks about a file called settings.php, which doesn't seem to exist in my installation.

I found a number of files under something called Erfurt that seem to have URLs of the form 'http://my.server.name/...' hard-coded, such as ./libraries/Erfurt/Erfurt/App.php. I also found many references throughout the code to a variable called $baseURL. I could not, however, find a configuration file where $baseURL is set.

So, I'm at a bit of a loss here. Has anyone else tried to reconfigure Ontowiki to use SSL after it was installed without SSL? Do I need to re-deploy the application? What is the successor to that 'settings.php' file?

Thanks in advance for any help.
