Hi,

I'm working on project that needs to map ontology into Postgres database with spatial data and share this dataset via website to anyone can use.

So, if I use the Ontop mapping process, can this database be integrated with a SPARQL endpoint on a website so that anyone can access the data via SPARQL queries?

in other words,
I know that this can be done in a local computer, is this same possible in remote server to access data via website?

Thank you

Hi,

maybe I misunderstand the question, but the Ontop CLI does already allow for running a standard SPARQL endpoint (via RDF4J). Why should you not be able to run this SPARQL endpoint on a server and share a public IP to anyone?

Isn't that all you need?

Cheers,
Lorenz

Thank you Lorenz,

I'll check the Ontop CLI, I'm new to this Ontop and whole ontology and web concepts. I'm still learning them while implementing one by one.

Simply, my PhD project is to share and visualize geospatial data from different sources for different stakeholders to access and use on their daily activities.  So I'm looking for an alternative to do so. Then I found Ontop, which is a really good candidate for this project. So, I'll go through the Ontop CLI.

Thank you for the information.
