Call for Submissions: SWSA Distinguished Dissertation Award 2026

Dear all,

a reminder that submissions for the 2026 SWSA Distinguished Dissertation
Award [1] close on 6 July 2026. The award will be presented at ISWC
2026 in Bari, Italy.

The award recognises doctoral dissertations presenting innovative
research on the combination of semantics, data and the Web. The winner
receives a certificate, EUR 1000 and free registration to ISWC 2026.

Eligibility: candidates must have received their PhD strictly between 1
January 2025 and 30 June 2026 on a dissertation that has not previously
been nominated for the award.

Submissions are made via EasyChair [2] and must include:

* a PDF of the dissertation;
* a summary paper of at most 5 pages, formatted according to the
Springer LNCS guidelines;
* a list of publications associated with the dissertation, with links;
* a letter from the supervisor or institution confirming the PhD award date.
