The Swiss Conference on Applied Ontology (SCAO) [1] serves as a venue for all people who are interested in applied ontology. The conference provides an opportunity to present original work on ontology research and applications for those who have been working in the domain of applied ontology, from inside and outside Switzerland and from both academia and industry.
SCAO is the flagship conference of the Swiss Center for Ontological Research (SCOR) [2]. SCAO 2026 is the inaugural edition of SCAO.

SCAO 2026 is primarily an on-site event; although some selected sessions may be recorded and made available on the SCOR website after the conference.
"How much is the registration?"
Participation is free of charge; however, the registration is mandatory (***Registration form under development***) and attendees, excluding invited speakers, are responsible for covering their own accommodation and subsistence expenses (e.g. hotel stays and meals) during the conference.
