Category Theory offers Systems Engineers and Systems Scientists ways to structure communication and relations between disparate fields and subfields in systems and in mathematics. Category theory offers a framework for information modeling and translational approaches across disciplines. This theory possibly offers an effective mathematical foundation for Systems Engineering practice.
