TheFamily Leader", who makes all decisions for the Family for that episode, is chosen through a vote. The family then heads to their destination. Candid interviews of the members air throughout the episode, discussing their feelings of something that just aired. The "Family Leader" also begins to make every decision deciding the Family's fate. The Family arrives at their house(s) and begins that day's agenda. A challenge is presented for the Family Leader as to whether they live in a nice house or the house that is falling apart. They settle into their new home and then take part in outdoor activities and games. There is no official main host, Kim Won-hee acts as a moderator during games. The Family then returns inside to prepare dinner. The Family Leader will need to go through a challenge and if he/she succeeds, he/she will have the better dinner available. If he/she fails, the family will eat the unfilling dinner. Late into the night, the Family prepares for bed. The next morning, the "Wake-Up Mission" takes place. Easier tasks are given to those who come out earliest and ascend to harder tasks for those who come out last. The Family is then waken up by loud techno music and flashing lights. The music continues playing as they participate in a morning exercise, followed by the "Wake-Up Mission". The mission involves finding food for breakfast and then preparing it afterwards. After breakfast, the Family completes a favor asked by the village headman. A preview of next week's episode is shown at the end of the each episode.

The members of the second "Family" are Kim Won-hee, Yoon Sang-hyun, Shin Bong-sun, Ji Sang-ryeol, Yoona of Girls' Generation, Jo Kwon of 2AM, Taecyeon of 2PM and Kim Hee-chul of Super Junior.[5][6] Jang Dong-min was added along with Kim Hee-chul during a recording on May 18, 2010. Kim Hee-chul is the eighth member of the Family,[7] and Jang Dong-min is considered a fixed-guest.[8]

Although Season 2 features many popular celebrity and idol group members, ratings of the show continues to drop. Compared to the Season 1, Season 2 is currently viewed as a failure. Rumors has been circulating about the show's cancellation since the 3rd episode, which the show's producers strongly denied.[9] The shows fate was eventually determined and it ended after 5 months due to low ratings.[4]

Season 2 received mostly negative reviews from TV critics and viewers who criticized the changes made on the format of the show, the casting choice and the fact that the show became too idol-oriented with most of the airtime and attention being given to the idol group members of the cast. Viewers also complained about Season 2 being too boring and for focusing too much on the forced love-lines between SNSD's member Yoona and 2PM's member Taecyeon. Viewers complained that the love-lines are heavily scripted and doesn't suit the 'family' concept of the show. There was much comparison between Season 1 and 2, with viewers commenting that the first season was much more humorous and natural.[12][13][14]

Watched the entire episode 13, again the YoonTaec moments are just a minority, however, it retains in the subconsciousness of the viewers mainly because there is that element of whether it is for "real or reel". Admittedly, it makes you wonder, and either its cheesy, cute, and sexy.

This episode was more WG focused, but i truly miss the "pillow fight" it was edited out. For this episode, editing was bad. Likewise, the activities were indoors and exclusively between the family and WG, as opposed to the previous episodes were the community was involved. Likewise, there were routinary activities for the family and guest which were not presented nor filmed, such as: waking moments/exercising/preparation of meals/washing and interactions before bedtime. Its like just watching cuts from one frame then transitioned to another.

ok the couple selecting thing was wg focued but what was the chicken part for.. it took my whole 10 minutes.. they could've done smthing else with the 10 minutes rather than showing bloody yoona chatching thw chickenn..they could've shown the pillow fight or the letter scene a bit more i mean wg were the guestt...arghhhhhhhhhhhh im so pissed i was lukin forward to the pillow fight.... stupid pd dont even kno how to edit!!!

I agree... Although I LOVED the TEACYOON parts of this, and crazy babo's Kwonnie and Heechul (whom stole the show in IMO), but I think we could have done without the chicken scene and put in the pillow fight!! I sure hope that the ratings go up!!

The love game was quite fun but it took too long. I love Hee- kwon interaction, totally hilarious; catching chicken was so funny , the last part was really touching. That three scenes are raw entertainment . Someone said above that the catching chicken scene should be cut must be anti or some fan girls jealousy. This scene was one of the most enjoyable moment of this episode. It naturally funny .

I'm okay with Taecyeon- Yoona loveline . I understand why they try to do this . It 's all because the popularity if this two which is the hope to boost the rating .But it is not right way. It looks too scripted . The PD is trying too hard so the scandal looks totally forced and uncomfortable . For a female celebrity, a scandal will remain in the rest of her life. It 's hard to erase that image. If they have to keep continue the fake scandal to save the show, then I feel bad for both of them. They might feel burden in their shoulders.

In my opinion if the PD plan to create the loveline then he should leave everything develop naturally. They are very close in the first place, time passes by, the feeling might develop eventually. The interaction between them will look so much real .But the PD and the rest of the cast try to push them too much. And it looks so predictable and somehow fake the how i look at it. Too much articles about this two, cf everywhere which make lots of people feel fed up. It might attract young audience ( let say age from 15-25)who interest in gossips, idols, showbiz etc, but to attract the older audience( 25+) they must do something else. 25+ audience or more, they dont care about some idols loveline. They are busy with work and family and they expect to watch something real fun and interesting, have some good laughs to relieve stress. If the show is too focus on the too scripted scandal between idols, then they might should go watch some romantic dramas. The 50s + dont even know who that idols are I guess.

I admitt that all variety shows are partially scripted but this show is going the wrong way at the moment. It looked too scripted and predictable so the audience will feel less exciting and less curious. They will be like " Loveline again? Why again? Again and now again?? Is the show call Dating outing? I dont bother to watch it anymore" . Is it a bit harsh?

It doesn't make ME wonder To be honest, it doesn't retain in my subconscious or conscious or whatever. The only reason that this even comes into thought is when I come on Soompi. Honestly, I've never seen more people pro- and anti- something as silly as this in all the time I've been at Soompi. Yoona and/or Taecyon fans might find it interesting, non-fans might not. That is that.

The show supposedly does it to boot ratings, but they should know by now that the viewing public apparently doesn't care or else the show's ratings would be better. It's not like the old days of Xman whether folks genuinely wondered about Kim Jong Kook and Yoon Eun Hae, even if they weren't fans of them. Yoona-Taecyon coupling appears too "made up" to be believable or of interest to the general public

couldn't agree with you more. The PD over strectched the "picking partner" thing and spent more than 50% of the show on this activity alone, well i guess because there were quite many pairs and individual performances to boot. Would have been better if the pairs had an outdoor task/competition then the reward and penalty scheme applied. The PD should have still shown the usual family activities: waking/sleeping/cooking/exercising/washing because i really find these activities fun plus natural, and i so look forward to each episode of FO2.
