Announcing the OLAC 2027 conference and call for volunteers

We are excited to announce that the next OLAC Conference, Building Bridges: Cataloguing Collaborations in Changing Times, will be held in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada on October 5-7, 2027. While the conference will be hybrid, we are looking forward to welcoming you to the vibrant city of Hamilton.

OLAC conferences feature in-depth workshops, presentations, and lightning talks from cataloguing and metadata professionals, focusing on all types of nonprint materials, including a wide range of digital resources as well as more “traditional” formats: video and sound recordings, websites, maps, multimedia, graphic materials, and realia. We hope you can join us in 2027!

We invite you to participate in the planning process for the OLAC Conference 2027. We hope to bring together a diverse group of volunteers from a wide range of interests, skills, locations, and backgrounds. We are looking for volunteers to help with local arrangements, program, and other organizational activities.
