Ask about or post information on parts used in maintenance (connectors, switches, etc) , other than dedicated equipment (don't list Omega stuff, for example).

SPEAKERS

Fourjay speakers like supplied by the pool guys, but $US76 rather than $C140.  They're 8 ohms rather than 16, and beige rather than white, but if you keep that in mind they work well.

Tuchel connectors (round 4-pin used on Omega Starters, computers, and likely other places)

C016 20D003 210 12 Female, cord end

C016 20H003 210 12 Male, cord end

There are also panel mount versions, right angle version, and other variants.  I recommend the gold plated ones rather than silver, based on chemistry and feedback from Rectec and others, but I don't have years of data yet.  I do have some silver and gold ones side by side to see what happens over time.  These are available from Mouser, and likely from many others.  The part numbers I've listed include both the internal cable clamp and the cable seal.  I prefer screw terminals for easy repair, and corrosion hasn't been an issue since these are sealed, but you may prefer solder.

BANANA PLUGS, DUAL

From Mouser, 548-BU-00247-0

Pretty happy with these.  They seem to stand up to corrosion and handling well.  I'd prefer a sealed one, but I haven't been able to find that.  They fit nicely in Omega/Swiss deck plates or deck boxes.
