Pad brackets

At least three brands of pads, and I don't know how many brands and models of pool liners, and one-off tiled installations. Each could have different mounting methods. What methods are people using to to mount pads, beyond the obvious?

Omega pads with holes, mounted to a Mertha liner without threaded holes. The bracket was cut from aluminum. The nut allows no-tool installation. As usual, if anybody asks I can provide drawings and part numbers.
