By the way, how is the drive to Ottawa from Toronto...is it safe
enough to travel north in the weather right now!?
Thank in advance.
Toronto to Ottawa is via a well-maintained four-lane expressway and
should be no problem unless its snowing or blowing snow.
Here's the Ontario Transport Ministry page you want for up-to-date road
conditions all across the province by regions plus maps. It's all
listed under "Travellers Information."

If you are staying at a hotel, check the weather channel, which also
carries some road reports.
Have a nice trip.

one of the best ones is the MSN Maps & Directions at

Does somebody know of an accurate street-to-street driving direction,
website like that of yahoo or www.mybc.com in BC area? Well, yahoo
doesn't seem to work that good in Canada!
