(1) A quintessential prairie scene by Inge Claussen,
"Saskatchewan Gold", is one of the best she has ever done and
has to be seen to be appreciated. It is not one of her
commercial-type Rideau Canal winter scenes.

(2) Jean Louis Hebert is one of Canada's best painters, working
out of the New York art milieu. The painting that I have,
"Port St. John's", is indeed a quality piece of work and must
be viewed from the perspective of both the artist and the
image. The use of colours, tones and shades allows the viewer
to appreciate the depth of the artist's abilities.

You are, of course, encouraged to research my comments by
talking to local art galleries and art associations and to
have the paintings verified. I assure you my statements are
accurate and not exaggerated.
Give me call, or e-mail, if you are interested and I will
forward to you a jpeg image of the painting. Or, if you
live in the Ottawa area, we can arrange a time
for a viewing.
