I've been having issues with both the black screen and connectivity to the citrix server (very intermittent).
When I get the black screen after hitting the search button, it will bring me back to the same search screen. Whenever this happens, I hit the back arrow button and it will populate the data for the parcel I was looking for. I know this doesn't solve the problem with getting the black screen, but at least it will get you into the parcel data you are looking for.
