As noted on the County Clerk website, my office was informed by a third-party vendor that we use (Cott Systems, Inc.) that they had detected potentially malicious files within their infrastructure around Christmas Day. It is important that it be made clear that no county owned infrastructure or systems were impacted, but rather the third-party vendor that we contract with for the intake, searching and record management of documents filed and/or recorded in our office.   Cott Systems has committed to keeping us informed on a daily basis at minimum as to the status update of their systems and my office is committed to sharing that information with the public as well. I would refer you to the County Clerk website for any additional or updated information as that is where we will be sharing it with everyone.
