Required Qualifications:
· 15+ yrs of IT experience with 10–12+ years in cloud architecture, primarily Azure
· Proven track record of greenfield cloud builds (landing zones, identity, automation, monitoring, operations)
· Deep expertise in Azure: VNETs, VMSS, AVD, PrivateLink, Azure Firewall, App Services, Functions, Storage, Monitor, Log Analytics, Key Vault, Policy
· Deep expertise in AWS : EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, CloudWatch.
· Deep expertise in Hybrid networking: ExpressRoute, VPN, TGW, DNS, segmentation
· Deep expertise in IaC: Terraform, Bicep, ARM, CloudFormation.
· Deep expertise in SRE stack: monitoring, tracing, dashboards, error budgets, SLIs/SLOs, incident management
· Preferred Qualifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Solutions Architect Professional; Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD) preferred
· Experience in consulting/MSP environments a plus
· Preferred Qualifications: Strong scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash); ITIL, DevOps, or SRE related certifications preferred
Description of service:
We are seeking a highly seasoned Senior Cloud Architect with strong SRE capabilities to design, build, automate, and operate large scale enterprise cloud platforms. The ideal candidate has extensive greenfield build from scratch experience, deep technical expertise in Microsoft Azure and also working knowledge of AWS.
This role blends enterprise cloud architecture, hands on engineering, and SRE operational excellence, ensuring that cloud platforms are highly available, secure, scalable, automated, and resilient.
Key Responsibilities
· Architect and deploy brand new Azure cloud environments including landing zones, identity, networking, governance, security, monitoring, and automation frameworks.
· Design and implement AWS architectures as a secondary platform (multi cloud and hybrid integration).
· Build cloud foundations using Azure CAF principles, multi subscription patterns, and best practice enterprise guardrails.
· Develop end to end cloud architecture blueprints, HLD/LLD documentation, runbooks, and operational frameworks.
· Implement and operate full observability stacks across Azure and AWS (Log Analytics, Azure Monitor, App Insights, CloudWatch, OpenTelemetry, etc.).
· Lead incident response, post incident reviews, and continuous improvement cycles.
· Build self healing, auto scaling, and automated failover capabilities using cloud native services.
· Drive performance engineering, capacity management, dependency mapping, and resilience testing.
· Standardize operational runbooks, error budgets, and continuous reliability improvement processes.
· Build end to end IaC using Terraform, Bicep, ARM, CloudFormation.
· Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and CodePipeline.
