Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced MDM Business Analyst with strong expertise in Finance Master Data, specifically General Ledger (GL), Profit Center (PC), and Cost Center (CC) domains. The candidate will partner with Finance, ERP, and IT teams to define, govern, and deliver high-quality master data solutions across SAP ECC/S4, SAP CFIN, and Oracle ERP environments. Exposure to Supplier Master and Customer Master data is required.
Key Responsibilities Finance Master Data (Primary)
Act as the primary Business Analyst for GL, Profit Center, and Cost Center master data.
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for master data creation, changes, and governance.
Define golden attributes, hierarchies, validation rules, and lifecycle processes.
Align finance master data definitions with accounting, reporting, and compliance needs.
Support finance transformation initiatives across SAP and Oracle platforms.
Collaborate with SAP and Oracle functional teams to ensure accurate master data integration.
Support integration between MDM platforms and downstream systems.
Understand ERP master data structures and mapping logic for GL/PC/CC.
Assist with data reconciliation, issue resolution, and post-go-live validation.
Work with MDM tools such as Informatica MDM / IDMC / R360 or equivalent.
Define governance models, approval workflows, and stewardship processes.
Support data quality rules, validations, and exception handling.
Participate in data governance and stewardship forums.
Support business analysis for Supplier and Customer Master data domains.
Gather requirements for onboarding, maintenance, and data enrichment.
Align supplier and customer data with ERP, compliance, and reporting standards.
Assist with cross-domain dependency analysis.
Prepare and maintain BRDs, FRDs, data dictionaries, and functional specifications.
Facilitate workshops, design sessions, and stakeholder reviews.
Support UAT, defect management, and release sign-offs.
Act as a liaison between business, MDM, ERP, and integration teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications Must-Have
Strong experience as an MDM Business Analyst with Finance Master Data focus.
In-depth knowledge of GL, Profit Center, and Cost Center.
Hands-on experience with SAP ECC/S4, SAP CFIN, and Oracle ERP.
Experience with Informatica MDM / IDMC or similar MDM platforms.
Solid understanding of data governance, workflows, and data quality.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with Supplier Master and Customer Master data.
Exposure to data integration tools, APIs, and reporting systems.
Experience in large enterprise or global transformation programs.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
