Data Governance Consultant needed

Location : Indianapolis, IN

Overall experience

1. The candidate is expected to be a senior consultant who can interact with the customer, interact with teams (local or remote) and lead the technical or business discussions in key meetings.
2. An ideal candidate must have been in a consulting role where he/she has led Data Governance initiatives for the client, defined policies across the DG spectrum for specific data domains, worked with Data stewards, Architects, Data owners and business stakeholders to deliver and help the organization adopt the discipline.
3. The role is a combination of consulting and hands-on experience. The ideal candidate will need to envision, design and implement the solution working with customer and internal  team from offshore. 

The candidate is expected to have the following expertise/experience.  

1. Understanding and hands on experience in Data Governance – concepts, process and technology aspects.
2. Must have the ability to front end conversations on DG independently, share best practices, build policies and process documents, socialize with various stakeholders
3. Good understanding of Information management lifecycle
4. Experience in Master data management across domains.
5. Hands on experience on DG and DQ tools like Collibra, Informatica
6. Experience working with Data Lake, Data Warehouse
7. Experience in Pharma / Life science domain and SAP Systems integration is a huge add-on

1. Excellent written and verbal communication
2. Needs advisory capability and ability to align with client expectations and also share practices.
