Position: IT Infrastructure Architect (M&A Enterprise Architect)

Location: San Jose, CA (Hybrid)

Type: Long term Contract Role

 

Experience

• 12+ years of experience in Enterprise IT Infrastructure.
• Proven experience leading infrastructure integration during Mergers & Acquisitions.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.

 

Mandatory Skills

• Enterprise Infrastructure Architecture.
• M&A Infrastructure Due Diligence and Integration.
• Data Center Migration and Consolidation.
• Windows Server and Linux Infrastructure.
• VMware and Virtualization.
• Storage (SAN/NAS).
• Backup and Disaster Recovery.
• Enterprise Networking.
• Infrastructure Security.
• Active Directory and Identity Integration.
• Cloud infrastructure exposure.
• Infrastructure migration planning and execution.
• Risk assessment and integration planning.
• Stakeholder management and executive communication.

 

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating large enterprise environments following acquisitions.
• Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Automation and Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Strong documentation and architecture governance.
• Project and program leadership.

 

Responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure due diligence for mergers and acquisitions.
• Assess existing infrastructure and identify integration risks.
• Develop end-to-end infrastructure integration strategies.
• Plan and execute server, storage, network, and virtualization migrations.
• Lead data center consolidation and modernization initiatives.
• Ensure seamless integration with minimal business disruption.
• Collaborate with Security, Legal, Compliance, and Business stakeholders.
• Define target-state infrastructure architecture.
• Prepare executive-level architecture documentation and integration roadmaps.
• Drive successful post-merger infrastructure integration across global environments.
