Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Programmer Analyst / Application Developer responsible for designing, developing, testing, maintaining, and enhancing enterprise-level web applications and database-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, SQL Server, MVC framework, and object-oriented programming, along with the ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.

The candidate will work closely with business users, system analysts, project managers, and technical teams to develop, modify, and support software applications that improve operational efficiency and business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements, project specifications, and system procedures to design and develop software applications.
• Convert functional and technical specifications into efficient, maintainable, and scalable computer programs.
• Design, code, test, debug, and maintain web applications using ASP.NET, C#, MVC 5.0, Razor, JavaScript, jQuery, and SQL Server.
• Develop and support SQL Server backend databases, including writing queries, stored procedures, and optimizing database performance.
• Work with Entity Framework ORM for data access and application integration.
• Develop and maintain reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Perform unit testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and code optimization to ensure application reliability and performance.
• Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning, stand-ups, code reviews, and release cycles.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to clarify program intent, input/output requirements, and internal controls.
• Prepare technical documentation, system flowcharts, program specifications, and user instructions for production support.
• Analyze and rewrite existing programs to improve efficiency and adapt to changing business requirements.
• Assist in production support, issue resolution, and deployment activities.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance on best practices and specialized technologies.
• Support system integration efforts and contribute to overall application architecture decisions.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years of experience in web development using ASP.NET and C#
• 8+ years of strong JavaScript development experience
• 8+ years of experience with SQL Server backend database development
• 8+ years of experience in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• 8+ years of experience working in Agile development environments
• 8+ years of experience developing applications using Microsoft MVC 5.0 framework including Razor
• 5+ years of experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• 5+ years of experience working with Entity Framework ORM
• 5+ years of experience with jQuery JavaScript framework
• 3+ years of experience with Unit Testing

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Experience with system analysis and technical specification writing
• Ability to design system architecture and application workflows
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience mentoring team members and supporting technical leadership initiatives

Education:
