Job Description -

Embedded Software Engineer 

Location: Mossville, IL, onsite 100%; open to relocation candidates but MUST be able to be onsite day 1 of contract (max 2 weeks from offer) and relocate at their own cost 

Client: Caterpillar

Visa: No H1B/CPT 

Duration: 12 Months 

Mode of Interview: Ropes Assessment + IV with HM!

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field And 6–7+ years embedded software engineering experience OR Master's accepted with 5+ years of industry experience
  1. Strong Embedded C++
  2. Software design & architecture
  3. Ability to confidently defend technical decisions without confrontation
  • Embedded C++
  • Linux
  • Git / GitHub
  • Debuggers & compilers
  • CTest / GTest
  • System-level feature design & specifications
  • CAN, Ethernet, or other embedded datalinks
