Position Overview

We are seeking a GRC Administrator & Developer to support and enhance a Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platform used by a large public-sector organization. This role will focus on administration, development, automation, integration, and support of the organization's GRC solution, including workflow automation, compliance management, reporting, and system enhancements.

The ideal candidate will have strong Python development experience, API integration expertise, and an interest in risk management, compliance, and security frameworks. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with cybersecurity, audit, project management, and IT teams on enterprise-wide initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary administrator and developer for the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platform.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Python automation scripts and API integrations.
  • Build and support RESTful API integrations for importing, exporting, and synchronizing compliance and security data.
  • Develop automated workflows for evidence collection, control reviews, risk assessments, and compliance processes.
  • Integrate data from CMDBs, vulnerability management tools, audit systems, and other enterprise platforms.
  • Work with structured data formats including JSON and CSV.
  • Collaborate with security, audit, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate resolutions with vendors and internal teams.
  • Support software testing, implementation, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance activities.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, system configurations, and development artifacts.
  • Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and team collaboration.
Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of Python programming experience.
  • Experience developing automation scripts and REST API integrations.
  • Knowledge of database design concepts and data management.
  • Basic programming experience with Java or C#.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and software development lifecycle methodologies.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platforms such as Navex IRM, Keylight, Archer, ServiceNow GRC, or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of risk management and compliance processes.
  • Experience with automated testing practices.
  • Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks, including:
    • CJIS
    • IRS 1075
    • PCI DSS
    • ARC-AMPE
  • Experience working with Azure DevOps, Azure Repos, SharePoint, or similar collaboration tools.
Work Arrangement
  • Hybrid position based in Lansing, Michigan.
