DHHS-ITD requires a Senior Integration Engineer to administer, design, implement, and oversee integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.

1. The NC Department of Health and Human Services seeks a highly technical resource to serve as a Data Integration, API, and ETL developer for creating real-time, on-demand, batch, and scheduled data interfaces and processing between systems and applications, both internal and external.
2. This Integration/Interface engineer position must be very well organized and able to manage multiple business, technical, and validation efforts. The candidate must have experience in solutioning from both a technical and functional perspective and must be able to understand and help clarify client requirements, design, and build the solution leveraging multiple resources/teams utilizing Salesforce and other platforms. The engineer must participate in exploring business needs, architectural analysis, development, testing, production support, and system maintenance.
3. Duties include requirements gathering, designing, and implementing solutions, and supporting go-live and post-implementation. The Integration/Interface Engineer position is responsible for providing hands-on development, design, implementation, and support of business solutions based on MuleSoft technology. Must have experience in MuleSoft architecture principles, system integration, technical sizing, high availability aspects, and integration best practices.

In addition to MuleSoft experience (a must-have skill), preference would be for candidates with experience in designing and developing integration solutions using IIB/ACE or Boomi.

Must-have profile

• A strong candidate should demonstrate:
• 7+ years in enterprise integration/API/ETL development
• 7+ years with integration patterns, messaging, transformations, branching, and parallel processing
• 7+ years building and supporting APIs/integration processes
• 5+ years with web services, API integration and ETL management
• 5+ years with MuleSoft API Manager
• 3+ years of MuleSoft–Salesforce integration
• 2+ years administering Mule ESB/Anypoint Platform, including cloud and multiple environments
• 2+ years working with JSON/XML/CSV/fixed-width files
• 2+ years of scripting experience
• Preferably 5+ years of IBM IIB/ACE
• Preferably 2+ years of AWS
