How can Reputation.com Fix My Reputation if they Can't Remove the Negative Content?

Someone posted false and insulting remarks about me all over the internet.  When I spoke with the online reputation specialists working with Reputation.com I was told that they could help me fix my reputation, but they would not be able to get the negative information about me removed from the internet because it wasn't possible to delete posts from the websites on which the negative comments were made.

My question is, if they can't remove the negative information from the internet how can they fix my internet reputation?
