Dear all,

26/11 is the worst ever attack by the militants. At the time of this post, still the operation is going on. Taj is evacuated but the Oberoi and Nariman House are still occupied by the Terrorists. There is no doubt about how well trained the group is and how the things were rehearsed. As Ratan Tata pointed out and is clear by now, the terrorists knew the whole geography of the Taj not only by maps but the way they roamed here and there shows that they must have visited Taj earlier. So, should be the case for their counter part in Oberoi, Trident. The minute planning and its algorithmic execution by scores of terrorists confirms the training by a military agency. Surely, it is backed by some foreign agency. On the other hand, the approach of the Indian task force deserves the salute and the tears in our eyes for Mr. Karkare, Vijay, Amte and scores of Jawans laying down their lives for us.

At the same time, this is the occasion of shame for our politicians. Shame on you all who had inputs from the intelligence agencies, from the Gujarat Government but they did not care to verify even a single details excepts the claim that the government followed a close radio intervention on the coast.

We, the people of India, feel the shame of having such a poor political will power of ALL the parties and bow down to each and every Jawan for their crucifixion in the Operation Black Tornado.

I am surely joined by all of you to pray for all the wellness of the country, May God save us from the worst politicians ever we have as our contemporary.

With heavy heart and tears,

Dinesh Karia

I'm really wondering that when all this will come to an end? or rather
will it cum to end??

When we all leave for office & work from house is there any guarantee
that we will be back safely?

So many people have lost there lives as mentioned by Dinesh Sir in the
above message & I m wondering that we have already lost such important
personalities & will this list stop or will still continue...??

Really there are tears in my eyes & don't understand how to react in
such situation, whether to Cry for the one who are no more, or happy
as my family & near ones are safe or to be angry & on whom, on
government or on those terriosts.!

Inspite of all this & being stopped my my parents & my near ones, I
went to office yesterday but I was really surprised to see local
trains without crowd, streets empty (at peak hours), really I was
stunned to see this.!

I m really praying that all this should stop & Mumbai should become a
safe place, I & also pray that politics should understand that there
are much more serious issues to discuss in mumbai rather than
internally fighting between Marathis & Non-Marathis.!

In general politicians just deliver speeches and multiply their thought and say some good words to show that they care about situation.  Most of the time they fight for many things with each other. Eg. NAMO blame on central government and central government on state government. They never take any action. I don't know what are they waiting for? Bigger attack than this or what?

We have intelligence egencies who make them aware of different facts but they never listen everything, these politicians are very aged and they are contented for almost all the things except making money ( spending money of people uselessly and corruption) and contented people can not lead you anyware. There is no progress if the leader is contented. This is not about blamming any one but it has been happening for a long time. Our country needs some
Yound Minds who really take some actions and make our country SuperPower.

Whenever anything like this happens people express their sorrows and forgets everything after sometime. If government is not doing anything then people has to take some action coz we live in democracy. It doesn't make any difference to them if such event happens. It becomes habbit and people becomes used to it.

To stop such kind thing community (people) has to take some action, not only single person.

Very true, Nilesh.

As far as the action by people is concern we could say many thinkers simply surrendered only to say they fumbled with the words to express their feelings and they did not have any readily thought action by the people. This is no surprise. We did not face any higly panic situation before and we did not even imagine this could happen to us. So it will take time to churn the thinkers mind and get the remady. That is the first task we can do. Think, Think, Just Think, what the people as whole could do.

On the other hand, the worst part of our high profile, so called reformists is their stoic character about such attacks and insidences. They will jump into the discussion and draw conclusions, had they find any event they could blame certain class of people. Amir Khan, Shabana, Javed, and host of others will keep no stone unturn to fight against Gujarat. Togadia, Raju Bhaiya, Raj Thackeray, NaMo will barely miss any situation regarding Muslim/Christens and start to cook up their butter and bread.  But they will keep a long distance from media while such events. They are not the only examples, I simply quoted a few of these category. Any prejudiced mind should be kept away and should be ostracized and everyone will agree that our so called leaders and human right activists are a part of this class.

One more point is that we should always look in the mirror and check ourselves if we have any any such lacuna (say for example, we may not be going to vote, we may fail to appreciate the ATS/NSG/Maharastra Police/Marcos/Fire Brigade and host of other agencies fighting for us to the extent of laying down their lives.

I will shortly share my reactions to certain discussions.

Love and Prayers,

Dear Friends,

As the 26/11 incidence has made all of us stunned and we all are urge
towards safety of our nation, family & loved ones & ourselves, from
last week I on my system I first go through the news, & wile going
through various news article, one of them caught my attention, & after
reading that I just cant stop my tears.

When outsiders (terrorists) attacks us we cant stop our anger towards
them, but its very painful when somebody like doctor is taking
advantage of victims in terror attacks.!!

In the article the conclusion is not drawn but it shows a clear
picture of doctors stealing the kidney of a victim of terror attack of
a lady from Vapi, Gujarat.!!

Just read the article & please have a discussions on what to do (we as
a common man) regarding this?

Following is the link of the article:

I'm also copying the same here:

Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus , or as it was known earlier,
Victoria Terminus , is one of Mumbai's best known landmarks, apart
from being the busiest railway terminus in the city, and possibly in
the country as well. The station is perpetually crowded at any time in
the day or night as trains that crisscross the city and states start
and stop here.

On November 26, life in CST froze to a halt as two terrorists, armed
to the teeth, heartlessly mowed down the crowds, most of them ordinary
people waiting to return home after a hard day's work, or railway
employees manning the various stalls.

One of the survivors of the carnage, admitted to JJ Hospital, recalls
the horror: "We were waiting at the station for our train to come. We
live in Vapi (Gujarat) and were going to Benaras via Mumbai to attend
a family function."

If only she had considered her sister's suggestion, to stop by her
house in Goregaon (in the western suburbs) for dinner and then leave
together to the station, her tale could have been different.

"My sister and I had decided to go together, but I didn't want to
burden her and so reached the station by myself at 9:30pm that day;
our train was to arrive only after midnight. If only I had agreed to
her, I wouldn't be lying here," recalls the 34 year old mother of two,
who has gun powder blisters on her right hand and shoulder.

Her husband, who works in a paint manufacturing company in Vapi, said
he was at the station to send them off.

"My older son had gone to buy a platform ticket for my husband. We
were waiting for him when suddenly we heard gun shots, which we
initially thought were firecrackers. It was only later that we
realised that it was a terrorist attack and that two youths were
shooting at people randomly," said the patient almost in tears.

Composing herself, she continues, "Though I couldn't see the boys'
face, I could see that they were young kids. They just started firing
at all the people who were there. My husband and son had a narrow
escape."

"I am happy that it was me who was injured. If it had been my husband
or son, I would have been devastated. Luckily nothing happened to
them. In just a matter of a few minutes, I was bleeding profusely from
my right-hand and shoulder. It looked like a fountain of blood oozing
out. We somehow managed to get out of the station and were immediately
rushed to St George's Hospital, where I was given first aid and
shifted to JJ hospital," she said.

What surprised her when she gained consciousness, was that the right
side of her torso had been operated upon -- when there was no injury
there.

"I don't know why the doctors have operated on this part of my body.
When I asked them, they said that there was blood clotting and so they
had to operate it. I know that nothing happened in that part of my
body from the blast or firing. They suspected it might be a result of
tuberculosis and that I might have had taken medication that would
have caused the blood clot. But that is very strange as I never had
TB. These people have operated on me for no reason. I do not trust
these people and want to leave immediately. My husband also has mild
injuries but I do not want him to be treated at JJ."

Nice sharing Mayuri,

Yes, it is true that in the crisis like this, the doctors would be prone to wrong diagnosis or mistakes. They should have taken all the care to work calm and composed. But let us recall the tension while we are treating the guests at marriages in our family. Think, many a times we forget to serve a particular item in one or two batches while lunch and dinners. Sometimes during the rituals, we run here and there only to find that a particular thing like garlands, kumkum, or nuts or pan is missing. So, one can attribute this sort of incidences, not to a lapse or a gross irresponsibility of the medicos but to the anxiety.

However, I have one major incidence to bring to your notice..... In my earlier mail, did you go through the reports how and WHY we lost ATS Chief? the encounter specialist? and PI Kamte? Just have a fresh look on the interview, which I reported, by Times group with one constable who was with the above three top rank officials. Did they take the steps in haste? Was their meeting Mr. RR Patil, the then home minister of Maharashtra Govt., that ended just before a couple of minutes of the attack, responsible for scaring these officials? Were the minister a bit more concerned for not stressing these officials on various other issues, the manifested haste could be avoided. I am sure everyone will agree that the life of the chiefs of battling Jawans is much more important. Their absence or sacrifice breaks the moral of the whole group of fighters.
