DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: (Required)

Client requires the services of 1 Salesforce Developer hereafter referred to as Worker, who meets the general qualification of Developer/Programmer Analyst 3 and the specifications outlined in this document. This is a hands-on role with solid understanding of Salesforce platform, its best practices, and architecture. The essential job requirements include planning, analyzing business requirements, design, develop scalable and reusable software and maintenance of existing systems. The candidate must rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently perform a variety of complicated tasks, may lead, and direct the work of others, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

• Fully understand, support, maintain user roles, profiles, sharing access and security best practices.
• Develop and manage custom applications using the declarative customization capabilities of the Lightning Platform.
• Must be proficient with Apex, Lightning Components and specifically Lightning Web components.
• Develop and manage Experience Cloud Sites. Extend functionality with custom lightning web components as needed.
• Builds custom report types, reporting snapshots, complex charting, custom summary formulas, bucketing, joined reports, and cross-filters to build reports that meet complex business requirements.
• Must know when to extend the Lightning Platform using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components and be able to code proficiently.
• Must have a basic understanding of Digital Accessibility requirements.
• Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with Change Management Process.
• Create and maintain detailed set of instructions and system configuration, ERD, flowcharts, and other documentation as needed.
• Deliver quality deliverables as agreed upon within the schedule.
• Flexible enough to adjust to changes in work, technology, team, etc.
• Stay up to date on the latest Salesforce.com releases, technologies, applications, and integrations.
• The candidate must be self-driven, broadly curious, collaborative, and ready to rise to new challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Job Title: Salesforce Developer

Location: Austin, TX

The Client seeks a Worker to perform in a Software Developer role to assist in planning and coordinating continued modernization development activities for the Client's complex casework management system IMPACT, PACES, PEIRS, NEICE, SSCC, ABCS, Child Placement Portal, Incentives and Remedies, Community Based Care, and other operational projects. The Worker will work with technical teams comprising of technical team leads, developers, user interface/user experience engineers, and technical/functional testing analysts. The Worker will facilitate meetings, elicit project details and document requirements for development projects focused on continuing modernization activities of existing Client's Enterprise Java web applications. The Worker will also work in concert with various technical leads (e.g., PMO, CTO, and Systems Development Resources) to prioritize assigned work and develop recommendations, options, and alternatives as required.

 

The Worker is responsible for the modernization of existing Client’s Enterprise web applications, following established standards, quality attributes, and design specifications. This role is responsible for the following:

· Define and Develop low-level design documents

· Contribute to and follow software engineering best practices to create robust and standardized solutions

· Work closely with Business Analysis and Project Management in executing the assigned development work

· Participate in design and development activities for existing and new components

· Perform full stack development including Database, Services, Web Applications, and Front-end development by utilizing various versions of programming languages and frameworks

· Write scalable and high available code by following the design principles and software engineering best practices

· Perform code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, test case automation, continuous integration and continuous deployment

· Identify, investigate, and resolve production problems in a timely manner, based on the priority

· Tracking Software Development Life Cycle activity metrics across all disciplines, including Requirements, Coding, Unit testing, Integration testing, Defects, Usability, and other established metrics

· Assess Level of Effort for individual modules

· Taking initiative to develop a foster a collaborative approach among teams before, during and after the requirements gathering process to achieve a common mission, vision, values and goals.

 

The Worker must have a strong background with extensive experience in the following:

· Ability to plan and coordinate technical activities including work break down, assignments, estimation of level of effort, enforcement of standards, code review, build engineering, testing, and release management.

· Work closely with Business Analysis and Project Management in prioritizing the assigned work and providing options/alternatives.

· Lead the design activities for existing and new components, make recommendations to the technology leadership.

· Define the automation requirements in a priority order from within the team, including build, testing, and security from CI/CD perspective.

· Technical background with progressive experience with various versions of programming languages and frameworks.

· Ability to simplify design complexities for Junior Developers to meet the quality and timeline objectives.

· Experienced with Full stack development capabilities including Database, Services, Web Applications, and Front-end development.
