Hello,

I am using an JavaScript library called JsPsych and in that creating an HTML webpage for a simple indication experiment using a simple image and keyboard indication.

However, currently I am having an issue locating code to place the image either at the top of the screen, or bottom of the screen at random.  Does anyone have any useful links or tools to assist in this problem?

Hello Aaron,

The easiest way to accomplish this would be to make two images that are as large as the browser window that you intend to present the image on. The background of the image should be the same colour as the background of your jsPsych experiment (white, by default). You would place one target image in the top half of one of your new images and the other image in the bottom half. Presuming that you would multiple target images, you would basically make one top and one bottom version of each target image.

cheers,

Michael.

Hi Aaron,

You can take your jsPsych questions to the jsPsych discussion forum (requires a GitHub account).

Good luck!

Best,

Parker

Hi Aaron,

We are doing the end-of-workshop wrap-up Q&A. I was wondering whether your question was answered above or whether you ever made it to the jsPsych discussion forum to ask your question.

Happy to help if you have any questions about posting to the jsPsych discussion forum on GitHub.

Best,

Parker
