I am making a program updater / launcher that can be used for any program.I have a config file on the client and a config file on a http server. I get version numbers from both of them and compare them and if they are are not = then update the client.
I have everything working except for when the update starts. What I need is say if someone downloaded my application and do not use if for say a month and in between that time I have 5 or so updates.The problem is how to I get my program to download the first update , install it and then download the next update untill they have all been downloaded?
Depending on how new you are, I'd really recommend you start with something a little easier. Otherwise, the first thing I'd recommend you do is to actually draw a flowchart. Your logic looks a little off, and it looks as if you're huffing it trying to design this system as you write it, which is something you never want to be doing.There are a lot of solutions for this that provide a better, more reliable systems then anything you can make yourself, but I can understand the educational value of this sort of project. I made my own 'auto-update/launcher' recently for just that reason, and it works reasonably well, albeit on a free webserver with myself an some friends as the only users.Here's the flowchart I made for it:Large: is actually the second iteration of my little project, with the first being less then overwhelming and somewhat disastrous in uncommon circumstances, but it's a good learning experiance. This one also has goofy command files that I can define things like showing messages to the user during an update, which is nice.If you don't mind looking at terrible and messy code, you can look through the code repo here, although it's not documented and a few part's aren't actually used but haven't been removed from source control. An example application that uses it is here (source, also messy).Sorry for what looks like a shameless self-plug, but I can't really answer your question directly and hope that you might be able to make use of some of this as an indication of how you should go about doing this, since it's actually a pretty fun project.

Does anyone know what this error message menas in practice? Are they conducting serve maintenance (server is offline)? Are they moving to a new web domain?
Check the zammad logs, i had an issue where the services kept on restarting again and again.
the scheduler log would turncate every moment, spew something out, and the zammad logs would repeat a couple of lines (in different order).
What helped me the last time remember i had a dev environment
(Sources installation btw) stop the zammad services, move away the old dir,
extract the working version again to the zamamd directory, copy database.yml back,
chown everything and start zammad.
Never do things without proper backups plz
Ok, from that error message, I presume you are starting napari from a conda environment? If so, you can install pyopencl as explained in the napari-pyclesperanto-assistant installation instructions by entering this in the command line.
I got this error after restarting my laptop, starting my university VPN, and activating the napari-env in the Anaconda prompt. I had no other applications open. Any tips for this problem? I really appreciate help, Robert!

2 Using Kindling i compared 2 gateways backups config files and would like to correct the difference in one of the files otherwise it will not launch designer or clients. Do you know if there is any way to do the change inside the gateway backup or is it write protected? I will not be able to correct the config file after deploying the backup because i dont have full server access.
I was gonna give it alook, downloaded the exe and installed it, but it is starting up very very slowly (like mulitple minutes) and when i try to choose a file the filebrowser isnt reacting at all Forcing me use taskmanager to end it.
If you use redirect-gateway def1 option in OpenVPN config file,the server will add a default gateway on your route table, what I want to know is why OpenVPN did not use network 0.0.0.0 netmask 0.0.0.0 as a default gateway instead of netmask 128.0.0.0 ?

ok @Baselyn i could not replicate your crash but as i do not have a g-portal server but a bisecthosting one it seems to be a server issue so untill you can give me a crash report or other means i cannot dwebug the crash! that being said polish lang files re-instated and will stay in untill 2 or more people have issues and can give me something concrete to go by!
He already had Hitman Pro installed but not activated, so I turned on the trial. It located and "vaulted" 2 trojans and 2 malware. He said based on the files associated with them, it was things he had downloaded "a long time ago" 1-2 weeks would be my guess. Restarted several times, both regular and in safe mode. Same thing, no internet after 5 mins.
