The guys at EA don't want us to cheat. There's no pride in the town you create if you can get everything with a cheat. I've played a while now and tried most of them out but I'm afraid it's all rubbish.
All you have to do is tap on homer to open the task menu and tap on him 10 or more times and then a message will say"you have discovered the super secret cheat" then you will get the jbediah Springfield statue and 10 donuts.
Once you complete the mayan calander for the halloween update, you will gain the mayan character. He will ask a question which will give you the chance to unlock mayan homer and 10 donuts if you get the question correct first time. The quesiton is refering to the tree house of horrors XIII episode where Kang and Kodos mention mankinds highest achienvement is "The Zune" selecting this answer 1st will give you mayan homer and 10 donuts
Keep tapping homer if be is not doing a job.keep pressing him a d you will hear him saying stop it.keep tapping him and somethink will pop up it will have a pictrue of a statue place it in your town and your donughts will move up 10 donuhts.
The cheat when you tap homer in the pool also works when he is on his mypad. Just make him to the task, click on him while he is doing it and then keep tapping on him. You will receive 10 donuts and a Jebidh Springfield statue. Doing this cheat on the mypad is quicker and easier
If you've accidentaly sent one of your characters on an activity or shift an you want to cancel it just simply go onto the land edit mode and select the house/object they are in and then put the house/object in storage. They will then be just walking around as normal and you can place your building back again.
First, make sure you have as many neighbors as possible (I use the comments below each cheat/hint page to look for new neighbors) - you can add me if you want, I play every day and will visit your town regularly.
After adding all your friends/neighbors, visit them. When you visit your friends town(s) ONLY select the buildings with Christmas decorations. WAIT until the "$" symbol regenerates, and tap it again to receive the Santa Coins again. The fastest regenerating building in the Simpson's house. This will work every time, and if you have a lot of neighbors, there is virtually no limit to the amount of Santa Coins you can collect!
Do not be afraid of planting triffids, in fact they give you XP! They give you around 150 XP and eventually you have to do a quest to plant a receive them twice. So don't be afraid to plant them unless you do not want to spend money to only receive XP.
You do not need to have Homer Simpson perform his "Lounging in the Pool" or "Play with the iPad" tasks to unlock the statue and donuts. Simply pull up Homer's task menu, tap on him 10 times repeatedly and they will be unlocked.
It turns out that if you have Mayor Quimby or Chief Wiggum perform illegal or immoral acts, your Springfield Righteousness level drops. If you return them to 'normal' tasks it goes back up. This is important as your rating determines how much extra of a percentage you get when collecting money and XP from buildings and tasks.
If you play every day and have a town full of brown houses with no more land to purchase you will understand that your tapping nonstop collecting tons of cash and Xp. But when your doing something else in life (sleeping, eating, etc) your brown houses aren't adding you any extra revenue. The Blue house may seem like a great option because it's only 1800 and only takes 8hr to get an adequate bonus. However you can really only harvest the blue house twice every 24 hours. Once in the morning and 8 hours later. We all sleep and I've tried to catch the blue house right before I go to bed and than again when I wake up. But it's a very difficult task to keep up.
Click on Homer.That shouls take you to his levels.Then click on him 10 times.Homer will start to laugh a message will come up and tell you if you have done it right.you get10 donughts for this and a statue hope this helped add me isabellaw490
To make homer run after you, you must make sure he is away from the pool! Then open his menu and make lounge in the pool BUT before he goes in move the pool around and he will follow it. I think you can do this with other people and things to! If homer gets in the pool before you move simply put it in your inventory and that will cancel the task don't forget to take it back out though! ADD ME mego616
My girlfriend had this issue so I did 2 things to try and fix it. She had all the artifact pieces but 1 duplicate piece which it said she had to lay or the quest would not complete. So heres what I did to get it working.
1. Tuck all the pieces of the artifact into storage. Do this by clicking on the 4 way arrow icon next to the hammer and saw icon then select an artifact piece then click on the cardboard box. Do this for all pieces including the duplicate piece.
Alot of people have been complianin that when the artifact has been built nothing happens...........it I because th pieces have been put together wrong, re-arrange the artifact till it is correct! You will know wen it is complete.
The more houses you visit back-to-back, the larger the payout. At first, tapping a friend's house might give you only about 3XP and $17... After visiting maybe 16-or-so neighborhoods (3 houses each), you'll start collecting stacks of cash worth $50... and more with each additional tap. It keeps going up and your only limit seems to be the number of friends you have. BUT!!... if you stop to take a break and return to visiting neighborhoods later, you'll notice that the payout will be reset to a lower amount.
After the artifact to be puzzled (check if the artifact is placed righht if not rotate it)there will be a characther shown then you need to answer the question...( Answer is the zune ) then homer will have a mayan outfit
As long as you can get reasonably cheap land, it turns out to be better to build farms of brown houses at $350 each, than to buy one pink house for more than 10 times that, $3700. Even though the game claims you get 1 xp every 5 min for th brown house. In reality the game rounds up your bonuses so you get 2xp/5min vs 12xp every 6 hrs for the pink house. So if you buy a $2600 property and 6 houses for$4700, you can get 12xp every 5 min you play instead of 12xp every 6 hrs. Just keep the game open while you watch tv and collect taxes at commercials and you will easily make up the extra money you spent and rack up lots more experience. When your 'other Springfield' reaches level 20, Side Show Bob appears behind the town hall next to some stores, arrest him and get $50. This happens every time you go in, you don't have to wait 24hrs! You can make $1000 dollars in 5 min while your brown houses tax is genereted. It's boring but it's honest. FYI when your other Springfield updates to level 25 he's gone so make cash while you can!
All you grinchy types who refused for some reason to put x-mas decorations up, maybe you can get some Xmas cheer AND gather a few coins over the next several days. If you HAVE already been collecting coins and were worried that theyd just disappear (like the Halloween candy did, ack). Fear not! You can now trade in coins for Christmas stockings and in exchange for 50 coins get either 1 donut, 2 donuts, 3 donuts, or a free reindeer. This will apparently be in
Valentines are left for the characters, not the buildings. Your visiting friends will only be able to leave those valentines for characters that are busy so make sure to assign everyone a task all the time. Don't just let them wander aimlessly around your Springfield.
To keep collect valentines keep going back to your Springfield and harvest them as soon as they pop up. This allows the next visitor the opportunity to leave you MORE. To level up this during this valentine's period, the key is to visit often and keep all your characters as busy as possible. Having friends who have bothered to update their software helps too. Give them a few day..
This trick takes a long time to prepare for, it took me years. Spend all your money buying as many white houses as you can until you have hundreds (or thousands, the more the better) of them. Collect every 12 hours and make as much money as you can. When you have millions of dollars, spend it on hundreds of the rat trap delivery trucks. But before you do you have to spend donuts to activate to XP multiplier. I usually spend 25 donuts to get 10 days at a time. After you reach level 939, instead of levelling up and rewarded with one donut, you get the change to win 3 donuts per 1000000 XP. I tap my sky finger once a day and complete over 400 character jobs and receive at least 12 free donuts a day plus any other I win from daily challenges or tasks.
If you switch towns using the Bart/ Milhouse button, Bob will appear almost straight away. Click on him then click friends town again, (same button as before) keep repeating this process and continue to visit other Springfield without going home. Bob will continue to appear over and over in almost the same spot every time. As you tap him you will earn $50 and 2 xp points. It is tedious but works great.
Please check this out and if it's worthy please let others know. I have been using it for days without fail. Please note that after. About 25 times you need to return to your own town and start again as the game does realise and slow down otherwise.
Wen you buy some land you get rubbish with it like green paint and wood don't you? Make Homer ''clean springfield'' and it only takes 6 seconds AND you earn 45 dollars! Worth trying to make springfield much more CLEANER!!!
For money make all your characters do 60 minute jobs. It will get you more money.Visit all your friends towns.Best of all do the itchy and stratchy scratcher.For donuts don't spend your donuts at the beginning and don't spend them at all.Also log in everyday so you can get a mystery box. On holidays you may be able to trade in tokens for donuts.I hope these tips have helped and to prove I've already gotten the squeaky voice teen and hans moleman by using the tips I used for dunuts visit me and add me.it's peachy12345678
