MOB practice and book

Ahoy All,

Given scheduling difficulties, the on-the-water practice session has been cancelled for the foreseeable future.  The regatta committee was unable to fit this in with everything else on the event schedule. We will try to do better!  

HOWEVER, a book covering preventing MOB incidents through prevention using good practices and proper gear, as well as techniques for MOB recovery is available through Practical Sailor (.com) for $14.95 under the bookstore tab.  It is an e-book available for immediate download.  I do not know if a membership is required to order the book.  The information provided is very detailed and includes a review of various brands of equipment.

I believe that the club will reimburse you for the cost of the book through deduction from your 2025 racing fees or other arrangement if you don't race.  Please feel free to comment to the regatta committee through me or any other member.
