How to access SNMP vi Web browser
Answer:
Follow the steps below to access the SNMP via Web browser.
1. Don’t connect the Magma EB4-1U to the network yet.
2. Connect a cross-over cable to Laptop and EB4-1U.
3. Connect power cord to EB4-IU unit. No need to power up the unit. All you need is standby power.
4. Go to your computer
5. Right Click the " network icon" below the system tray
6. Click "Open Network & Sharing Center"
7. Click Local Area Network
8. Click Properties
9. Select "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPV4)
10. Click Properties
11. Select "Use the following IP address"
>>For IP address enter 192.168.1.20
>>For Subnet mask enter 255.255.255.0
12. Click OK
13. Start or launch your Internet browser
14. Type 192.168.1.10
15. For “User Name”: default
16. For “Password”: magma
