Will the oss-266 CARD (HIB25-x4) works in non OSS backplane?
Answer: NO
No, this does not work.
The reason it does not work is due to the clock routing required in the backplane. OSS puts the output clock onto the JTAG pins. The backplane is expected to route that clock to the downstream devices. The correct way to do that is to use a clock buffer with an output for each downstream slot.
