There's more to selecting text in Microsoft Word that just clicking, dragging and highlighting with a mouse.
Here are a few cool tips for selecting text in Microsoft Word that will let you speed up the process.
Double Click
- Double Click anywhere on a word to select the entire word.
Single Click
- Press the CTRL key while clicking on a word to select the entire sentence.
Triple Click
- Triple Click anywhere in a paragraph to select the entire paragraph.
CTRL + A
- Press CTRL and the A key to select all text in a document.
With a word or group of words selected, you can change text formats or even delete the text by pressing the delete key.
You can also Copy (CTRL + C) or Cut (CTRL + X) the text to Paste (CTRL + V).
