Hi

When will we have the possibility to lock tabs so that when we open a folder it would not change the already existing tabs, or there is a shortcut to open in a new tab?

once you register OC as default File Manager it will work as you describe
settings > advanced > register default file manager (experimental)

But I mean to lock tabs so that when I open a folder it will not replace the folder in the active tab.

So you mean a situation where you middle-mouse-button to open a new tab but the original tab remains selected?
I can add that. Would that be default or also selecting the tab?

Not exactly, what I mean is , you have a folder that you open by enter key or double left click, it will open in the tab actually active replacing the folder previously there. If the active tab was locked, that means you could not change the folder shown in the tab the action of opening a folder should open a new tab, because the locked tab could not be changed. I hope this is   enlightening..

Double-click on folder in OC will always open in current tab. If the intention is to be able to lock the tab and then a double-click on folder in that locked tab is supposed to open in a new tab, that is not planned
