Would it be possible to reconfigure the functionality of the "Hide temporary files" checkbox to "Show temporary files" instead? As it is currently configured, the "hidden" temp files are shown in error when the "Show hidden files and folders" is checked and "Hide temporary files" is also checked...

Essentially, I would like to show hidden files and folders and hide temporary files...

In closing, I want to thank you for creating the absolute BEST File Manager...period! Wishing you all the very best of success going forward...

Cheers!

Thanks for the feedback! The temporary files as the ones which have Temporary Attribute set.
If you have both checked: show hidden and hide temporary, then you will see only hidden.
What temporary files are showing - from which program? I suspect that program only sets "hidden" attribute and not "temporary"

Thanks for the swift response :) I really appreciate it...

With all the Visibility options selected...

Here is a sample of what I'm seeing on this end with respect to temporary and/or hidden files...It looks like your suspicion is correct...only the "hidden" attribute has been set...

I see. Well, I am not surprised that Microsoft is not using the Temporary or Hidden attributes properly - they use it for Print to PDF files that shouldn't be temporary but they don't use either of those for Office. I'll include files that start with "~$" as temporary, include it in 3.5.7 and push the update in a few days.

That sounds great! I look forward to *not* seeing the temp files after the 3.5.7 update arrives :) Thanks again!

I've installed 3.5.9 and verified that files starting with ~$ are hidden if enabled to hide temporary files...Thanks Milos!
