Preview with Docx file and shortcut file

Dear Developers,

I just found this software and I love it. I am now setting up and see that word (docx) file cannot be previewed in the native preview/detail pane, I am wondering if this problem is only for me or it's what it is. I installed the portable version.

Also, is it possible to preview a shortcut file (I have a library folder in my PC and I linked the files to other location as shortcut for easier access)?

Word preview shows only if file is saved in Word with "save thumbnail" checkbox in save dialog. The explorer preview is available only in preview window (spacebar) if the option is enabled in Settings>Preview>"Enable Explorer preview".

It is not possible to show that in the main window because that preview doesn't work with Acrylic or Mica windows (everything black will show as transparent)

I'll see about the previews of lnk files
