In Setting->View->Scroll behavior, if I choose Pixel (smooth), then the scroll direction is reversed, i.e., down scroll becomes upward moving! Get around: Don't choose Pixel (smooth).

OC doesn't have scroll direction settings - it just uses Windows default in both Pixel and Item scroll. The only option there that OC is adding is "smooth scroll" under that Pixel/Item scroll switch. Check settings in any mouse utilities you might be using

But the Pixel scroll in all other apps, e.g., document editors and readers, are not reversed.

Look for any of Logitech Options / Options+, Razer Synapse, SteelSeries GG, Corsair iCUE, KensingtonWorks, Synaptics/ELAN touchpad suites, “smooth scrolling” utilities, etc, AutoHotkey, PowerToys ,“mouse gesture”, macro tools. Any could be causing it, many could have per app profile for mouse options. I would hear about it from many people and scrolling code has not been touched in years, and I need a way to reproduce the issue.

Among your list, I only use Logitech mouse software. Another issue I encountered today was that OC crashes when I tried to resize it. I noticed that this type of crash has been reported very recently. My guess is that these two issues (bugs) might be all related to mouse behavior.

When it crashes, what is the error in Start>Event Viewer>Applications> anything menioning OneCommander.
I have Logi+ and use various logitech mice on all computers but no issues with scroll and that app doesn't have option to customize scroll per app as far as I can see, so I am not sure what could be happening there. Does it happen in v4 beta (both crash you mention and scroll issue) https://onecommander.com/OneCommander0.0.24.0.zip (there is no install, just extract in some non-system folder and run)

PS: I do see that my mouse uas option to add application and invert wheel for it only, so it might be worth checking if yu have OneCommander at the top listed with this inverted

These two issues (bugs) seem to be evasive. I can't deterministically reproduce them --- there must be some triggers unknown to me. I have been running version 24.0 for two days and there are no issues there, congratulations. I will keep you informed about my experience with it.

P.S., I use the same software for logi tech mice, and the scroll direction was set correctly. There is no issue there.
