Hello.

OneCommander seems to show dual standard layout browsers in horizontal alignment. And it always shows columns layout browsers in vertical alignment. This behavior is supported by the text in the help here...

I am not fond of the columns layout. However I prefer to use dual panes with a vertical alignment.

Would it be possible to allow me to run standard layout browsers with a vertical alignment?

Alternately, how about just allow me to hide the browser within the pane? You have a button that does this on the standard layout browser but I don't see this button when using the columns layout browser.

 thanks!

Hello Pat,

There might be an additional layout in v4 with two "Classic" layouts over-under (not starndard as those have preview underneath so all of that wouldn't fit twice)

Can you clarfy the last point? In columns layout shows all folders leading to current, what would show if there was option to "hide the browser within the pane"

Hello.

What I am talking about is that in standard layout, there is a button I can press to add or remove all the navigation tabs. As you can see below.

If I could find that same button in the columns layout, I would guess that it might remove all the navigation tabs and it woul look pretty much like the standard layout. My guess is that it would discplay or conceal the section in red below...

As you can see, never use the preview and do my best to conceal it. I prefer the spacebar feature that you offer.

Awesome product, BTW.

 all the best,

Actually, I have thought how to rephrase myself to be more clear. I was looking at the help text on this page...

I find that when using the Standard Layout View, there is a button that hides the Navigation Pane.
I do not see this button when in the Columns Layout View.
It would be valuable to me if I could find a button on the Colomns Layout View that conceals the Navigation Pane.

 thanks!

Thanks for clarification. I'll consider it for v4 and new layouts. It is not a small change under the hood so it may not happen soon as there is already a long list of things that are already planned

I totally get it. You've got to triage your issues if you want to get anything done. Regardless, I appreciate the consideration you have already given.
