I often work in folders with different kinds of file extensions.
Example: .srt, .nfo, .mkv and .jpg for a TV-show.

It would be so cool if there was a way to select all .srt files with just one click. Often i need to delete alle files of one extension type and so on.

Now I have to hold in ctrl key on keyboard and manually click on all files i want to mark.

Something to consider for version 4?

Cheers!

I do this all the time also. So far, the quickest method for me...

1) Sort by extension
2) Click on first file of type I want to delete, holding SHIFT key
3) Click on last file, still holding SHIFT
4) Delete

It's quicker than clicking one by one. Not quite as fast as a single key click, but not bad.

Yeak, thanks Stuart. That is faster.
If you're logged into Windws with your admin account you can also right click the folder and choose 'Open folder with Powershell'. A command prompt will appear. Then just type del *.srt if you want delete all files with the extension srt. Just be sure to don't do any typos, the files will be gone forever.
Still hoping for a single click feature! :)

I'll think about the intuitive way to do it. In the meantime, you can type in view
.srt to just show srt files
Ctrl+A to select all
