Hello
I really enjoy one commander, but I have a very frustrating issue.
When I drag and drop file to import in After Effects something happens and the import proceeds very slowly.
With the normal explorer when I drag and drop a file, the import is instant.

I have also tried with Photoshop and Illustrator and there the import is instant.

My version of One Commander is v2.5.8.0 (64bit) Windows Store version.
My Windows is Windows 10 Home with the latest updates.

Hi Dimitar,
What kind of files were you dropping into AE, are these from local drive, and is there anything else specific for this files? I have just tried it on a laptop with AfterEffects 2019 (16.1.1) on a laptop by dragging 10x 5760...@29.97 H.264 files, nvme drive, dropping them all at once. It took about 5 seconds, but dragging these from File Explorer took the same amount of time. I will test it also on another computer to see if I can reproduce the issue.

Hi Milos,

Thank you for your answer.

I don't know what was happening but now seems to work fine.

Hey, I've been having a similar problem, but it's not just slow. Often times when I drag and drop into the After Effects project bin, nothing will happen at all.
I have v2.5.8.0 (64bit), Windows Store version on Windows 10. I'm dragging and dropping single Photoshop files that aren't really that big.
Before this latest update, I didn't seem to have a problem at all with dragging and dropping in AE.

Thanks (Been loving OneCommander, btw. The file explorer Windows has always needed)

I will see if I can reproduce the issue, but it should behave the same as default File Explorer. Drag is simply using native Windows drag functionality and should not depend on file size, as the file is not being read when drag is started. In current version there is a quick drop issue, if you drop in less than a second after starting a drag, program will ignore it. I thought it would prevent accidental drag&drop, but it created confusion. I'll remove that "safety" feature in the next update (beginning of October planned).
