Dear All, I need your support.

I'm experiencing a significant delay when selecting, copying, and pasting even one file in the OneCommander window using shortcuts Ctrl+C and Ctrl+P. This is getting really annoying.

In Windows 11 Explorer, I'm not experiencing any delays when selecting, copying, and pasting the same files.

And delay also when I right click on any file or folder in OneCommander.

I really appreciate any help you can provide.

Clipboard in Windows can only be accessed by single program at any time so if there is delay then some other program is keeps looking at your clipboard constantly.
I know that some screenshot tools don't play nicely with clipboard, clipboard managers, and some virtual desktop software like Parsec, but it could be keyloggers and other malicious software too.
Try instead to Ctrl+Shift+C on a file to copy its path to clipboard - just to try to catch the program that doesn't play nicely. This will try setting path to clipboard 3 times, and if it fails the 3rd time, it will search system for program that is holding clipboard hostage and will show program name in notification area at the bottom of the window. Try this sevaral teims.

Dear, thank you, but I couldn't notice any program is holding the clipboard in the notification window. I read in our forum that we need to disable the Windows Context Menu Extension.

And when I right click it itakes almost 5-6 secs for the action. only OneCommander.

Thank you.

Was that RightMenu Class from EaseUS causing the slowdown?

I'll make an option in next update to try catching what is holding clipboard. I'll push it in a few hours.

I forgot to ask if you restarted, in case something else like Google Drive extensions waw bugging out. If yes, plase update to 3.102 and then hold Alt while clicking on About icon which opens about dialog. On top you will see button that checks for programs that are monitoring clipboard.

Not exactly, I was trying to disable one after one to see which program is affecting the OneCommander Copy and Paste. Yeah, I restarted every time.

Dear, I followed your instructions. I got this message: "No programs held the clipboard during the observation period." However, I see some slight improvement. Earlier, it was 5-6 seconds and now it is 3 seconds. Right-click a bit faster than before.

Thank you.

Dear Sorry, I'm taking my words back.  "However, I see some slight improvement. Earlier, it was 5-6 seconds and now it is 3 seconds. Right-click a bit faster than before".

Again, it is the same as before.

For context menu, did you try context menu with all "shell context menu" extensions disabled and checking the time?
Do you have any mounted but disconnected network drives? Any non-name card reader dongles in your USB ports?

As of context menu, there is nothing I can do as I literarly a single line Clipboard.SetFileDropList(listOfFiles), there is no other way to optimize that. I call it and whatever happens after and the amount of time it takes, I don't have control over. There must be something that is listening your clipboard I just don't have a way of finding what as Windows doesn't provide additional ways to do that.
