help with fastly rename single file with pre-set template rules

I need to rename single file frequently everyday, and the template in batch file automator can't be used conveniently, because of single files can only be draged into opened file automator, and can't be drag into automator by context menu.

is there any better solutions? thanks for help.

In 3.53.1 the selected file should be automatically added to the list when you open File Automator with the robot icon. Is that helping with the workflow?

yeah, it works, I didn't noticed that before, thanks.
and I found powershell scripts seems more convenient.
is there ways to specify a shortcut key to  automator  or script menu

There are no shortcuts for scripts or Automator actions. There would have to be a completely new system with UI for assigning shortcuts to those but maybe some day. Scriptable buttons will probably come first
