If you observe the four edges of the window, you will notice that—after maximizing—content along the edges gets clipped; this makes it impossible to determine which tab is currently selected.

Likely that windows shell replacement is also changing default window borders when maximized. You can try this  https://onecommander.com/OneCommander0.0.34.0.zip

It works fine after switching back to the old version. Will this be fixed in a future update?
In the old version, the options "Register as default file manager" and "Register Win+E hotkey" are disabled and the context menu seems to be unresponsive.2026-05-02 09-26-35.png

Just to clarify, the one I linked is beta of the upcoming v4 - is that one working fine?

The ~V3.108 from your original post will be replaced. V3 branch won't get the new window type because it used some 3rd party libraries for drawing window and I removed those in V4

The beta's option to register those is disabled until the official release

But menu being unresponsive is strange, as menu has not been changed much and mostly icons were replaced... so I have to see if anybody else says they have issue with that menu

Oh, I mistakenly thought your link was for the older version. It works fine on v4.

The OneCommander window is activated when the menu is clicked, but the folder does not open.
