Hi Milos,

If I right click on a folder and click on the command "Open in new tab", the folder is opened in Windows Explorer instead of OC. It happens in standard and column modes.

I have QTTabBar installed on WE, could this be the reason?

Thanks in advance,

François

This isn't happening to me. I have tried many folders :). Tested on 3.51.1.0

Thanks for the input, Roger :).

By the way, I run 3.51.1.0 too.

Milos,

I just tested on another computer where QTTabBar is not installed: I also have this behavior. Clicking on "Open in New Tab" or "Open in another view" always fire a new  Windows File Explorer with the concerned folder focused.

Both computers runs W10 with latest updates.

Is it something related to french version of Windows?

I reply again to my own message...

Milos, I also just realized that these 2 commands are not even translated, and are not part of the XLIFF file:

untranslated popup menu commands.jpg

Could this be linked to my bug?

those menu options (not translated) ain't from OC ... guess its from  QTTabBar and/or other thing
to open in another tab/browser view > open in (ouvrir dans...) submenu right after the color tags

Emanuel,

Have you got these menu options in your popup menu? If no, you've certainly found the point: digging on C:\ disk of the computer without QTTabBar, I just found an old QTTabBar folder... I should have probably install this one day, uninstall it later and forget about it. The uninstall process has probably left some waste in the folder' system popup menu.

Anyway, these 2 options would have been cool to have in OC. Milos, do you plan to add them?

As Emanuel said, OC has new tab option in "Ouvrir dans...", but it is already possible to click with middle mouse button on a folder to open it in a new tab so that menu option is probably not very useful

Thanks Milos and Emanuel, I finally understand and find the "open in..." popup menu option. I didn't noticed it before.
