I am likely wrong, but I cannot find a way to place a trash can on the bar. Is it hiding some place?? Thanks.

On the sidebar? There should be one. It is not deletable, and you can only drag it into a different group. If you open address bar and paste
%RecycleBin%
You will get a recycle bin, then you can add it with + button on the desired group

If your goal is to delete a file, simply press the DEL key on your keyboard with the file highlighted.  In your screenshot, P6100009.JPG is currently highlighted.  Press DEL key, and you will see a YES/NO confirmation asking if you want to delete that selected file.  You will not find a toolbar icon to delete files.  You may right click the file then select Delete from the pop-up context menu.  Pressing DEL key is a bit quicker.

Apologies -- but I am now seeing that latest released OneCommander Pro instantly deletes files with zero warning or confirmation.  You will want to be careful with this.  There is no setting to show a confirmation or warning that I can find.

V4 has delete on toolbar main toolbar, so you may want to wait until that one is finalized.

Delete is handled by Windows shell (default Explorer dialogs) - so in the same situations where Windows Explorer would skip the confirmation, it will be skipped from OC also. There is no settings in OC because Explorer does all the work related to deleting, and if OC was asking for confirmation then in some cases you would see the prompt twice, once from OC and once from Explorer

Ah -- that explains things.  I had Display delete confirmation dialog unchecked under Recycle Bin Properties under Windows 11.  I had forgotten that I set this.  When I checked it off, I confirmed that OneCommander Pro v3.108.0.0 does indeed display a deletion confirmation prompt.
