I know you do not recommend running OC as admin, but I just experienced trying to move some files between UAC prompted folders, and taskmaster just failed because everything needs permission.

Should taskmaster always be run as admin?
OR
Is there a setting to make sure it prompts UAC when copying to controlled folders?

Thanks

If admin username you type on UAC prompt is not current user then the created files might have wrong owner, even the ones that didn't require elevation. But these sitations were not tested in detail.
You can run without elevation but when you need to copy/move into protected folder, you can drag with Alt and select to copy/move with Explorer.

In v4 Taskmaster is integrated into main program and will prompt when there is no permissions, and then the operation will continue running by Explorer dialogs (programs in Windows can't self-elevate)
It is still early though but if you want to test it anyway you can run portable version from a different folder https://onecommander.com/OneCommander0.0.28.0.zip
