Since there is no lock tab or something.
When I open from external sources it replaces the current tab and I get lost in the folders even when I have the tabs named.

It would be nice if it would always create tab ignoring the path check.

Also it would be nice if there was an option to open in side view instead of current active view where the active tab is.

Keep up the good work.

There are only options "Existing tab with same path", or "current tab" (Settings>Advanced), and if you want explicitly set it as new tab even if there is already path with the same path, you have to pass it as -newtab parameter:
OneCommander.exe -path "c:\mypath" -newtab

I'm not using cmd when opening external files (ie chrome downloads). So this workaround will not be useful for me. Can this be an option in settings since you already have two there? I'm sure it will take you like 5 minutes to add another option with ignoring the path check ;)

In either case, keep up the good work!

You can modify registry key for Directory. I can't keep branching the options indefinitely
